Mallorca: Six years sought in Manacor child sex assault
Mallorca: Prosecutors want a six-year prison sentence for a man accused of sexually assaulting a girl in Manacor. He faces trial before the Second Chamber of the Provincial Court on Friday, 30 October, at 10.00. The alleged assault took place on an unspecified date between 2017 and 2018.
According to the prosecution, the girl was especially vulnerable because of her young age and dependence on psychotropic substances and alcohol. It alleges that the man gave her alcohol to make the sexual acts easier.
Prosecutors also seek €5,000 in compensation for the harm caused to the girl. They want the court to ban the man from approaching or contacting her for 12 years.
