Clara del Moral to leave Mallorca tourism post in September

Clara del Moral, Mallorca Island Council’s director for tourism offer and quality, will step down in September on retirement. The Consell de Mallorca confirmed the departure on 19 August in Palma, Mallorca.

Del Moral took up the role in summer 2023, when José Marcial Rodríguez was the island councillor responsible for tourism. She remained in post after Guillem Ginard replaced him.

Council sources said her retirement was for personal reasons. The Consell de Mallorca is expected to announce her successor shortly.
