Around thirty stalls fill Plaza de España in Andratx, Mallorca, on 7 November as the Renovando Closet clothes market brings second-hand bargains and a school fundraiser to the square. Shoppers find clothes, shoes and accessories for children and adults, including well-kept used items and stock from shop clearances.
Pupils from Ramon Llull school sell sweets to raise money for a study trip. The Casal de Joves youth centre runs a sticker-making workshop. Andratx Council’s Fairs Department organised the market, and mayor Estefanía Gonzalvo welcomed the chance to give unused clothes another life while bringing families together in the square.
