Ibiza coast: police file 37 reports on breaches
Eivissa, on Ibiza, ends its tourist season with 37 reports on coastal rule breaches: local police and the Guardia Civil’s maritime service filed them through joint work. Eivissa City Council gave the figure after its local security board met on 3 November to review the season.
Local police and the National Police also responded together to 95 incidents during the tourist season and carried out coordinated patrols and security operations. The council said Eivissa remains a safe municipality according to crime figures.
The board said cases of gender-based violence recorded in the VioGén system so far this year are below the figures for previous years. It also discussed special security operations for the general strike called for 11 November and the general election scheduled for 29 November.
