Mallorca councillor resigns from Llucmajor council

A council seat is opening up in Llucmajor, Mallorca: Maria Neus Marí Tomàs is resigning for personal reasons. She is the councillor responsible for youth and fairs. Llucmajor council confirmed her decision on 7 November and said it expects to formally record the resignation at its next meeting, planned for November.
After that meeting, the council will send the paperwork to the Central Electoral Board to begin the process of filling the seat. It will also request the credentials for the person legally entitled to take it.
