Andratx councillor quits, mayor takes over planning

In Andratx, Mallorca, Mayor Estefanía Gonzalvo takes over planning and heritage on Monday, 5 October, after councillor Beatriz Casanova resigns for personal reasons. The town council announced the change.
The council says it will reorganise its departments over the coming weeks to keep work moving on projects planned for Andratx. It says it will continue to respond to residents’ needs and has thanked Casanova for her work.
