Mallorca court support gets €1.3m over four years
People involved in criminal or civil court cases across the Balearic Islands will keep access to social support after the Balearic Government approved up to €1.3 million in Palma, Mallorca, on Friday, 11 September.
The funding agreement with Fundación Instituto de Reinserción Social will run for four years, from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2030. It continues a service already available to people caught up in judicial proceedings.
The organisation will provide information and advice on court-related problems and local support services. It will also offer social and emotional support, plus help with paperwork and official procedures. The aim is to reduce repeat offending, help people stabilise their personal circumstances and support their return to society.
