Mallorca firms are set to get help hiring disabled workers: a new agreement will connect them with job-matching services and training tailored to vacancies. Inserta Empleo and the Chamber of Commerce of Mallorca announced the deal on 21 October 2026. Virginia Carcedo of Inserta Empleo and chamber president Eduardo Soriano signed it.

Under the agreement, chamber members will be able to use Inserta Empleo’s recruitment services. The two organisations also plan training for disabled jobseekers that fits the roles firms need to fill, and studies to find more openings across different sectors. Chamber members will receive advice on hiring incentives and examples of good practice.

Carcedo, who is also secretary general of the ONCE Foundation, sees particular potential in tourism, a major part of Mallorca’s economy. She said the partnership would help Inserta Empleo reach more island businesses and support them through the hiring process. Soriano said the aim was to give firms tools to remove barriers to employment. Neither organisation announced how many jobs the agreement might create.
