Mallorca dog attacks kill around ten farm animals
In Consell, Mallorca, two dog attacks leave around ten farm animals dead in recent days. Consell Local Police responded to both incidents and drew up two police reports.
Police say dog owners must keep their animals under control, even on an open rural property. They must have suitable fencing and other safety measures to stop dogs leaving the property and attacking other animals.
Owners could face complaints and legal liability. If the legal conditions are met, the dogs could also be declared potentially dangerous, bringing further duties, safety measures and restrictions.
