Menorca drug arrest over beach sales to minors

Police in Ciutadella, Menorca, have arrested a Spanish man over suspected drug sales to minors at a beach in the town. The arrest was made last Thursday, the National Police said on Tuesday. Investigators say the man worked in private security.
The inquiry began after a minor contacted police. The witness said the suspect had offered drugs to people on the beach, including under-age people. He was allegedly carrying a bag of marijuana and selling it, particularly to teenagers.
Officers from the National Police's Local Judicial Police Brigade then set out to find the man. Statements from several witnesses led to his arrest, police said.
