Mallorca: Police arrest two men in Palma’s Son Banya settlement on Friday after one tries to flee behind huts and discard a bag of cocaine. Plain-clothes National Police officers had spotted the pair allegedly selling drugs. The Balearic Islands police headquarters says uniformed officers then entered the settlement at speed.
A plain-clothes officer caught the fleeing man, while another stopped the second suspect. At the suspected sales point, police seized nearly 150 grams of cocaine, cocaine base or both. They also found marijuana, hashish, tablets for erectile dysfunction, drug-selling equipment, a knife about 15 centimetres long and more than 2,000 euros in assorted banknotes.
