Mallorca drug case: 27 years sought over Son Banya sales

Six people accused of selling cocaine and cannabis from at least two houses in Son Banya, Palma, face a combined 27 years in prison. The Second Section of the Provincial Court of the Balearic Islands will hold a pre-trial hearing on Thursday at 09.45. Prosecutors are seeking four and a half years for each defendant over the alleged drug sales, which they classify as an offence against public health.

The alleged sales took place between October 2021 and February 2022, according to the prosecutor's indictment. Investigators watched and recorded the transactions, the indictment says.
