Mallorca e-scooter theft: police arrest man after wall climb
CCTV footage led police to a 22-year-old accused of taking an e-scooter from a home in Sóller, Mallorca, on 8 September. Guardia Civil officers arrested him after searching the area, the force said.
The homeowner checked the property's security cameras and alerted the Guardia Civil operations centre. The footage allegedly shows the suspect climbing over the boundary wall, entering the property and leaving with the e-scooter.
Officers carried out searches nearby and found a man matching the description given by the owner. He was carrying the stolen e-scooter, according to the Guardia Civil.
The Colombian national was arrested on suspicion of theft involving forced entry and handed over to the judicial authority.
