Mallorca weather: early rain, heavy showers possible

Mallorca, in Spain’s Balearic Islands, faces rain before dawn on Sunday, and some showers across the islands could be heavy. Minimum temperatures are also expected to fall across the Balearics, Spain’s State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) says.
Thick cloud is forecast for the islands while much of mainland Spain stays largely clear. The rain comes amid unsettled weather across Mediterranean regions, but Aemet expects those conditions to ease. Winds over the Balearic Sea are forecast to turn north-easterly.
