Mallorca Easter 2027 brings five-day holiday break
Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands, gets a five-day Easter break in 2027: public holidays on Maundy Thursday, 25 March, and Easter Monday, 29 March, fall either side of the weekend. Good Friday, 26 March, is a public holiday across Spain. Spain’s Directorate-General for Labour sets out the dates in the 2027 work calendar, published in the official state gazette on Tuesday 13 October 2026.
Maundy Thursday will be a public holiday across most of Spain, but not in Catalonia or the Valencia region. Easter Monday is also a holiday in Catalonia, Navarra, the Basque Country, the Valencia region and La Rioja.
The calendar has 14 public holidays in all, including two set by each local council. New Year’s Day falls on a Friday in 2027, while All Saints’ Day and Constitution Day both fall on Mondays.
