Eivissa on Ibiza: 3,273 square metres of council-owned land could become public green space in Es Llimoners-Sa Real. The city council votes on Monday on the first planning step. The proposal would create a green link between Abel Matutes Boulevard and Joan Marí Cardona Park.

Councillors will decide whether to give initial approval to a change to the city’s General Urban Development Plan. It would reclassify the land as public open space and add it to Eivissa’s network of public spaces, the council says.

Mayor Rafael Triguero says the proposed green space follows a promise to people living in Es Llimoners-Sa Real. The vote has yet to take place.
