Eivissa mayor pledges dialogue with Balearic military chief

Eivissa, Ibiza: Mayor Rafa Triguero pledges continued cooperation and dialogue with the Balearic Islands’ military chief, Major General Ricardo Esteban Cabrejos. Eivissa City Council reported the pledge on 16 October, following a meeting between the two. Triguero also wished Cabrejos well in his new role.
Cabrejos took charge of the Balearic Islands General Command in March after his promotion to major general. He previously served with the Canarias XVI Brigade and has taken part in missions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Afghanistan and Lebanon. He has also published work on geopolitics and international relations.
