Eivissa rents: minister tackles affordable homes

Housing Minister Isabel Rodríguez comes to Eivissa on Wednesday, 16 September, to discuss access to affordable homes. The visit is for an event organised by the Socialist Federation of Eivissa. Rising rents, public housing and the effect of tourist uses on the residential market are on the agenda.

Rodríguez will speak about housing as a right and the policies needed to make a home affordable, according to the party. She is also due to address the need for more public housing and regulating rents to contain prices.

Rosario Sánchez, a candidate for the Govern presidency, will close the event. It starts at 19.30 at the Club Diario de Ibiza in Eivissa.
