Mallorca election complaint targets Sóller council video

Responsible for this content: Frank Menze

In Sóller, Mallorca, a council video about building work at Les Escolàpies draws an election-law complaint. Ara Més Front Ampli has reported the council to the Balearic Islands Electoral Board, alleging a breach of election rules. The complaint was shared with the media on 31 October 2026.

The council posted the video on its social media accounts. The party says the post calls the neutrality of political institutions into question. It wants the electoral board to act as soon as possible and require the council’s governing team to follow election rules.
