Mallorca: €20m-plus Andratx sports hall plan approved

Mallorca’s Andratx is a step closer to a new sports hall: the council has given final approval to plans for the building in Es Vinyet, with a construction budget of more than €20 million. The council announced the decision on Monday, 28 September 2026.
The hall is intended to give Andratx’s clubs, sports organisations and athletes more suitable space. The council says it will expand and improve municipal sports facilities as local sporting activity grows.
Mayor Estefania Gonzalvo said the council needs to stay close to clubs and athletes, listen to what they need and improve facilities to match their activity. The approved plans cover both the basic design and the detailed project for the hall.
