Officers found signs that a Spanish national’s driving licence was forged and investigated the person for suspected document forgery. In a separate case, they found a Belgian national driving without ever having obtained the required licence. They opened a case over a suspected road-safety offence.

Officers also suspected that documents presented by a Polish national were forged and investigated the person for suspected document forgery. Police have sent the files from all three cases to the relevant judicial authority.

The town council says the cases come as the local police extend and reorganise their shifts, putting more officers on duty and covering more times of day.
