A man falls about four metres at Caló des Mort, Formentera, on 8 September and is taken to hospital. The 112 emergency call comes in at 11.15am. A lifeguard reaches him first on a jet ski.
The man suffers a head injury and neck pain. Because of his condition, rescuers take him by sea to the area near a well-known hotel, where he is transferred to an ambulance for the journey to hospital.
The Formentera Island Council says an incident commander and two firefighters attend with a light vehicle and an urban fire engine.
