Maó brings over 20 family activities to city centre
Maó traders bring more than 20 family activities to city-centre streets and squares from Saturday, with events on all four Saturdays in November. Oversized wooden games, bouncy castles and cooking workshops are on the programme. Traders’ association Mô Comercial announced the fourth edition of ‘Vine a jugar a Mô comercial’ on Wednesday.
Activities will run at the same time in several spots, including Plaça Príncep, Ses Moreres, Plaça Esplanada and the Claustre del Carme. Families can also find drawing and face-painting workshops, storytelling in English, an open-air library and a concert by the Ateneu de Maó. A Christmas decoration workshop and an eco-friendly carousel are planned too.
Mô Comercial hopes the programme will bring families into the shopping streets and support local businesses.
