Maria de la Salut mayor seeks re-election in 2027

Maria de la Salut, Mallorca, has a familiar candidate for its mayoral election on 23 May 2027: Jaume Ferriol is standing again after winning an absolute majority in 2023. The People’s Party (PP) has chosen the sitting mayor as its candidate, the party said in a statement.
Ferriol says he wants to earn voters’ trust again by keeping in direct contact with them, listening to their concerns and tackling everyday problems. He says he brings more experience to this campaign. The party says there is still work to do in Maria de la Salut, and Ferriol has promised to make the town his priority.
