Mallorca tennis: Fognini joins Murray's team in Manacor

In Manacor, Mallorca, Fabio Fognini completes Andy Murray’s four-man team for Saturday’s Rafa Nadal Academy Slam, a doubles exhibition at the Rafa Nadal Academy. The event marks the academy’s tenth anniversary.
Murray, Dominic Thiem and Marat Safin make up the rest of the team. Rafa Nadal’s opposing team so far consists of Nadal and France’s Richard Gasquet.
Fognini reached No 9 in the ATP rankings and won nine singles titles, including the 2019 Monte Carlo Masters 1000. The Italian also has 426 tour wins, with 17 against top-10 players. In doubles, he won the 2015 Australian Open with Simone Bolelli.
