Mallorca forest fire burns pine grove near Alcúdia

A forest fire burned a small pine grove in Bisanyes, near Alcúdia, Mallorca, on Tuesday evening. The blaze began at about 19.10 and crews from the Balearic Institute for Nature (Ibanat) had it under control shortly before 20.00.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Natural Environment classified the fire at potential severity level zero. It said the affected area was a small stretch of pine woodland in Bisanyes.
