Formentera: second migrant boat lifts total to 29

A second small boat has raised the number of migrants found on Formentera on Tuesday to 29. Thirteen people of Maghrebi origin were stopped at 08.45 on the island’s PM-820 road after arriving irregularly.
Earlier, at 06.17, emergency teams stopped 16 other people of Maghrebi origin at La Mola after they arrived by small boat.
The Balearic Islands Government Delegation said officers from the Guardia Civil in Formentera and the Unidad de Seguridad Ciudadana de Comandancia (Usecic) took part in the PM-820 operation.
