Mallorca fall leaves patient critical at Son Espases

A patient is in a critical condition at Son Espases University Hospital after a fall at a home in Fornalutx, Mallorca. The incident happened at 07.00 on Thursday. SAMU061 sent a basic life-support unit and a medical helicopter team to assess and stabilise the patient.
Once the patient had been stabilised and the hospital had been contacted, emergency crews transferred them to Son Espases under a severe polytrauma code.
Fornalutx Local Police and Civil Guard teams from Fornalutx and Sóller assisted the operation.
