Mallorca weather: Friday showers possible as lows dip

Mallorca, in Spain’s Balearic Islands, could see showers on Friday despite mostly clear skies across the islands. Spain’s State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) says showers are more likely in the Balearics than at isolated spots on the eastern mainland coast. Minimum temperatures in the islands are forecast to fall, while winds stay light.
Cloud patches over the Mediterranean early in the day could bring the showers. Most of mainland Spain stays largely sunny at first. Later, an approaching weather front is forecast to bring rain to Galicia and nearby areas, with thunderstorms in places.
