Mallorca Parliament opens doors to German residents

The Balearic Parliament is “always open” to the archipelago’s German residents, its president Gabriel Le Senne says after meeting the new German consul, Angelika Saake, in Palma de Mallorca on Friday, 25 September.
Le Senne wished Saake “much success” in her new role and later thanked the diplomat for her visit in a post on X.
Later on Friday, he also met Mallorcan Elisabeth Reynés, recently named first lady at Miss World 2026 in Vietnam. Le Senne thanked her for visiting and praised her “dignified” representation of Spain and the Balearic Islands at the contest.
