Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza, in Spain’s Balearic Islands, account for around 9% of GetYourGuide’s bookings across Spain in 2025: the three islands hold a share of a national experience-tourism sector whose economic impact the platform puts at 12,290 million euros. GetYourGuide presented its study in Barcelona, Spain, on Wednesday, 28 October 2026.

The study says international customers who book experiences through the platform spend an average of 498.6 euros a day and stay 7.77 nights in Spain. It does not say how the islands’ 9% share is split between Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza.

Bookings are shifting elsewhere in Spain, too. In major city destinations, winter’s share of bookings rose from 10% in 2022 to almost 17% in 2025. Barcelona’s share of GetYourGuide bookings across Spain fell from almost 25% to 12%, although the number of bookings in the city grew. Across the country, the number of departure points for experiences rose from 152 to 956 over ten years. The study does not say whether that spread of activities has also happened on the three islands.
