Menorca headbutt: man held over flatmate’s broken nose

A 33-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly breaking his flatmate’s nose with a headbutt at a home in Sant Lluís, Menorca. The alleged attack took place early on Monday 21 after an argument between the two men. Guardia Civil officers from Maó were called to the address and later found the suspect in the Binibeca residential development in Sant Lluís.

Officers spoke to the alleged victim, who had a nose injury, and to a witness. Both told police that the man had struck his flatmate hard in the face with his head, breaking the nasal bones, before leaving the home.

The alleged victim reported the incident to police. After the arrest, officers found that the man was subject to three judicial alerts from courts in Málaga, Llobregat and Barcelona, concerning his location, arrest and imprisonment.
