Mallorca health waiting lists: García faces MPs
Palma, Mallorca: MPs question Health Minister Manuela García about waiting lists next Tuesday while President Marga Prohens heads to London. Tourism Minister Jaume Bauzá and Agriculture Minister Joan Simonet are travelling with her to the World Travel Market tourism fair. Questions to government members are scheduled to begin at 10.00.
Waiting lists and care
García will answer a question from the PSIB about health service waiting lists. She must also report on progress towards better services for people with ELA on Menorca and on health and psychosocial care for people with borderline personality disorder. Both matters were raised in earlier parliamentary motions.
Other questions before parliament
MÉS per Mallorca and Vox will ask about budgets. PSIB members will raise water reserves, emergency care and housing, among other issues. MPs will also debate proposals on social and healthcare facilities on Menorca and the public pension system.
The sitting could open with a new Vox MP taking an oath or making a pledge following the death of María José Verdú.
