Mallorca heat builds on Friday as temperatures rise

Heat is set to build across Mallorca on Friday, with higher daytime temperatures after patches of low cloud in the morning. The State Meteorological Agency, Aemet, expects mostly clear skies and no rain across the Balearic Islands. A moderate south-westerly wind is also forecast.
While heat alerts apply in six regions of Spain, they do not cover the Balearics. Córdoba is expected to be the hottest provincial capital, with a high of 39ºC.
Aemet says the stable spell will bring rising maximum temperatures to Mallorca and the other islands. Elsewhere, temperatures are also due to climb in the Ebro valley and along the Mediterranean coast.
