Ibiza rain shifts on-call medics to on-site duty

Heavy rain on Ibiza and Formentera: medical and surgical teams that normally work on call are switching to on-site duty during a weather alert. The Ibiza and Formentera Health Area announced the temporary change on 18 October to prepare for possible weather-related emergencies.
The health authority says having the teams on site will help them respond quickly and keep care available across both islands. It will monitor the weather and make further organisational changes if needed to protect patients and maintain services.
