Mallorca rain: Showers could turn heavy on Monday

Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands, faces showers on Monday, 12 October, that could turn locally heavy in the north-east during the morning. Inland areas and the south could see heavy showers in the afternoon. The Spanish State Meteorological Agency expects the rain to ease as the day goes on.

Menorca could also see locally heavy showers in the morning. Temperatures are set to rise across the Balearic Islands, especially the daytime highs, with a moderate tramontana, a northerly wind. Across most of mainland Spain, high pressure keeps skies mostly clear or only lightly clouded.
