Mallorca showers may turn heavy on Monday morning

Mallorca, in Spain’s Balearic Islands, faces showers on Monday that could turn locally heavy in the north-east during the morning. The risk moves inland and south in the afternoon. Menorca could also see locally heavy showers in the morning, according to the Spanish State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
The showers are expected to ease as the day goes on. Temperatures rise across the Balearics, especially the highs, with a moderate tramontana wind. On mainland Spain, high pressure brings little cloud or clear skies to most areas.
