Mallorca faces locally heavy showers and storms

Mallorca, in Spain’s Balearic Islands, faces showers and thunderstorms on Thursday 8 October that could be locally heavy. Spain’s State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts cloudy spells across the islands, with showers and storms most likely on Mallorca and Menorca.
Temperatures fall at night but change little during the day. Light to moderate south-westerly winds turn northerly in the early hours. On Menorca, the wind could be strong at times overnight.
