Mallorca: Four face trial over 30-plus home raids
Four men face trial over more than 30 alleged home raids on Mallorca: prosecutors say they broke into properties in several towns between March and May 2025. Minors are also alleged to have taken part, and prosecutors are seeking prison sentences totalling 40 years for the four men.
According to the prosecution, the men hired vehicles to reach the homes, then went in wearing balaclavas and carrying pistols. Some of the alleged raids took place within hours of one another. Prosecutors say the stolen goods were shared among those involved or passed to other people.
The Provincial Court’s Second Section is due to hear the case soon. A preliminary hearing on Tuesday was briefly suspended after one defendant, previously declared absent from the proceedings, turned up without his lawyer. She arrived later.
