Mallorca: Palma homes for sale fall 2%, Balearics 8%
Palma, Mallorca, has 2% fewer homes for sale in the third quarter of 2026 than a year earlier. Across the Balearic Islands, listings are down 8%, leaving buyers with less choice. Property platform Idealista released the figures on Thursday, 22 October.
The fall across Spain was 9%. Madrid was the only Spanish province where the number of homes for sale rose, up 8%.
Idealista spokesman Francisco Iñareta says large markets led by Madrid and Valencia are gaining listings, while medium-sized and smaller cities continue to lose them quickly. He says high prices in big cities are putting homes beyond some buyers’ reach. With less pressure on the homes available there, price rises in those markets could ease over the medium term.
