Mallorca hotel AI forum targets bookings and profits
Mallorca’s hotel sector will put artificial intelligence at the centre of a forum in Calvià on 1 October 2026. The fourth Calvià Destino Revenue event takes place at Sala Palmanova, bringing together hotel professionals, sales directors and tourism technology specialists. They will examine how AI can help businesses sell rooms and services, manage pricing and raise overall returns.
Calvià Council is organising the event, which focuses on hotel revenue management: the handling of income and direct and indirect sales. Mayor Juan Antonio Amengual and tourism deputy mayor Elisa Monserrat will open the forum.
Prices, sales channels and direct bookings
Under the theme “Del Prompt al Profit: La IA en la Distribución Hotelera”, the programme looks at practical tools, pricing, sales channels and market shifts already changing the business. Pau Rivera of Dataria will set out his view of new market trends in a talk titled “Revenue con otros aires”.
Tamara Jiménez of SiteMinder will discuss how hotel revenue management is changing, including current approaches to income and direct and indirect sales. Sonia Molina, Mar Bardolet, Mar Cerdó, Chema Herrero and Fabián González will then join representatives of Incubadora Revenue to discuss the challenges of tourism distribution.
From ChatGPT to tailored offers
Marián Cañamás of Lighthouse will explore how generative AI, from ChatGPT to direct bookings, can influence travellers’ decisions. Celina Vergés of NubeBook will focus on using data to tailor hotel offers to each customer’s needs.
The final part of the morning features three presentations on AI tools for hotels by Manel López, Raúl Blanco of Neo and Joan Sanz. The event ends with networking, where attendees can exchange views, build commercial links and consider how to use the methods in their own establishments.
