Housing shortage holds back Balearic small firms

Responsible for this content: Frank Menze

A housing shortage is holding back growth for many small and medium-sized businesses across the Balearic Islands, says employers’ leader Carmen Planas. Planas was responding to unemployment and employment-registration figures released that day. She says the labour market is slowing after the season, while taking in people whose status was regularised in recent months.
