Two arrests and 116 reports on seized drugs mark the nightclub closing in Eivissa, on Ibiza, from 9 to 11 October. Spain’s National Police arrest two people suspected of selling drugs and file the administrative reports for drug possession. Officers from its Operational Response Group carry out the checks in nightlife areas.
The Balearic Islands police headquarters says the operation aims to prevent crime, strengthen public safety and detect drug dealing and possession. The two people are arrested on suspicion of offences against public health.
