Police in Sant Antoni de Portmany on Ibiza issued 90 notices for illegal drug possession in public during checks around club closures. The town council announced the results on 13 October. Six extra officers and the dog unit from Formentera’s local police joined the operation.
Of the 90 notices, 86 concerned foreign nationals. Pink cocaine, also known as ‘tusi’, was the drug officers found most often. Police found neither quantities nor other evidence to suggest the drugs were intended for dealing, so they made no arrests.
