Ibiza fire burns 800 sq metres of pine at Santa Eulària

A forest fire burned about 800 sq metres of pine woodland and scrub in the Torrente de s'Argentera, Santa Eulària, Ibiza, on Monday. The blaze broke out at about 13.30 and was extinguished by about 15.30.
The Balearic Government initially put the fire at potential severity level one, before cutting the risk level to zero after 14.15. Crews brought the flames under control minutes later.
The blaze affected 0.08 hectares of pine woodland and scrub. The Balearic Institute of Nature deployed two aircraft, two fire engines, 22 forest firefighters and three environmental agents.
