Ibiza hire car hides 260 ecstasy pills and cash
In Sant Josep de sa Talaia, Ibiza, a hire car hides 260 ecstasy pills and more than 6,000 euros in cash: Civil Guard officers arrest its 23-year-old driver on suspicion of drug trafficking after a stop on Friday night, 25 September.
The driver appears nervous at a security checkpoint. Officers search the car and spot signs that a panel beneath the dashboard may have been moved. Behind it, they find a bag of drugs, with some doses already packed for sale and distribution, according to the Civil Guard.
Alongside the ecstasy are 18 glass containers of cocaine, 17 of Tusi, 28 doses of ketamine, 23 of MDMA, 10 of LSD and several sildenafil tablets. The bag also holds three 100 ml bottles of GHB.
A further search turns up another bag in a separate hidden compartment. It holds the cash. Officers seize the drugs and money as evidence, and the driver is to be brought before a court.
