Ibiza firms present their technology projects on Wednesday, 28 October 2026, as the island holds its first Ibiza Innovation Summit. Artificial intelligence, sustainability and business innovation are on the programme. The event also brings companies together to discuss what new technology could mean for their work and for Ibiza.

The Balearic Government organised the summit through CentreBit Eivissa, alongside the Ibiza Island Council and the Chamber of Commerce of Ibiza and Formentera. According to the Balearic Ministry of Economy, Finance and Innovation, the programme includes sector-specific panels, project presentations and discussions about the opportunities and challenges new technology brings.

At the opening, Balearic Government vice-president and minister for Economy, Finance and Innovation Antoni Costa says innovation can help firms improve productivity, develop new products and services, and use technology in their work. He says public bodies, businesses, universities and knowledge centres need to work together to drive innovative projects.
