Visitors will see work spanning artificial intelligence, automation, robotics, cybersecurity and fire prevention. The line-up also includes water engineering, a digital food marketplace and tools for managing sports events. Organisers want to make the island’s innovative businesses better known and help companies, institutions and the public make new contacts.

The programme is due to start at 10.00 with an official opening. Discussions will cover the island’s innovation network and regional technology parks, ways to reduce the ecological footprint of island areas, and how artificial intelligence and big data have changed business processes. A networking session will give participants time to exchange experiences and explore working together.

The Bit Foundation and the Eivissa and Formentera Chamber of Commerce organise the summit through the Innobal Office, with support from the Ibiza Island Council.
