Ibiza port open day: 60 activities, drones and dogs
The port of Eivissa on Ibiza hosts 60 activities on 17 October, with drones, a dog unit, music and dance on the programme. The Balearic Islands Port Authority is organising the ‘Vive el puerto’ open day to show the public what happens at the port. More than 30 organisations will take part across different areas throughout the day.
Security and protection teams will demonstrate their work with vehicles, drones and a dog unit. The programme also covers sport, the sea and posidonia, with environmental activities for families and children. There will be music, dance and ball pagès performances.
A virtual 3D visit to the Puig des Molins necropolis offers a way to explore Eivissa’s heritage. Specialists will also give talks and lead activities on marine research, sustainability, culture and local traditions.
