Hospitals, health centres and vehicles across Mallorca and the Balearics will gradually take on the new IBSalut logo. The Balearic Health Service unveiled its new shared brand identity in Palma on 20 September, covering its public healthcare network.

IBSalut is already the name by which many people know the health service. Its new logo will sit alongside the official coat of arms, maintaining the service’s institutional link with the Balearic Government.

The design uses science blue as its main colour, with Mediterranean blue alongside it. It also retains the government’s existing colour range and its Noto Sans typeface.

The health service says the common look will bring hospitals, health centres and other care facilities under one recognisable identity. It is intended to make the IBSalut brand clearer and more consistent across the system.

The new identity manual sets out how the logo must be used on signs, digital services, social media, administrative documents and printed material. Uniforms, vehicles and other communications will also be included.

The change will not happen all at once. IBSalut will introduce the branding as materials come up for replacement and new infrastructure is brought into use.
